Fonterra Whareroa Milk Treatment CIP Upgrade – Techo Project

TIES were asked by Techo to work on the Clean In Place (CIP) system replacement upgrade.

This project had around 250 pieces of equipment ranging of, variable speed drive’s (VSD’s), valves, conductivity, turbidity meters, temperature probes and the associated instruments, cable ladder, lighting for out on the new platform and also emergency lighting.

The design and install of cabinets for the PLC’s and instrumentation equipment were set up on the new outdoor CIP structure with communications linking back to a newly installed PLC panel back in a factory.

After the new CIP kitchen was operational TIES were then given the job to disconnect and remove all of the cables from the old CIP area.
